There are just a few ways to earn money in the edit suite. Charge a hour, sell more jobs or become much more effective in your editing processes. We'll ignore the first two for now and focus on the third.

In regards to visual aspects and multimedia, Screencast using Screenr of your product and share it. Demonstrate a step by step guide on how best to perform a task using a how-to video, Screencast, or show different steps in a set of photos. Try to incorporate as many ways to show the content. Interest will be instilled by taking alternative routes and grab the attention of other clients. Portray your message another way. Create a music video and add it. This new and exciting piece of content will keep the viewers attention and will cause them to desire more. Share a cartoon in your site of your choice or create an original animation to demonstrate your business' personality.



When you add much extras in your proposal, the cost adds up and it eventually turns customers off. Chances may also open for your competitors to charge lower than you. My recommendation is to place the shooting and editing of the video on your quote but only put 1 DVD copy. Your proposal should demonstrate that documents or any additional DVDs for their site will be an extra charge. They forget till the project is finished, about obtaining copies of the documents.

But what hasn't changed is the ability or not to use the medium to tell a story.
